The ceilings with sight structure, manufactured by PROMETAL, are the ideal solution for any type of premises (office, commercial, public) in which it is required to have a resistant surface for a periodic maintenance.

PROMETAL PSV is a system of false ceiling consisting of panels, generally in modules of 600x600 mm installed on "T" sight structure. It is suitable for use in commercial or public spaces, requiring a durable and easy to maintain surface. If the perforated panels are lined with a soundproofing material, an enhanced sound absorption is achieved providing optimum ambient acoustics. Being very easy to install and manoeuvre, the false ceiling allows easy access to suspended technical installations, and any maintenance work is done in optimal conditions.

ADVANTAGES

The ceilings with sight structure are ideal for premises requiring cyclic maintenance and cleaning. They are quickly mounted on a 15mm or 24mm structure. The suspended ceilings hide electrical, sanitary, ventilating or any technical devices in the ceiling cavity, allowing access at any point due to the fact that they are mounted only by their own weight.

SOUNDPROOFING

To ensure good acoustic insulation, perforated panels are recommended, being lined on the inside with a hot-dip black filter.

THERMAL INSULATION

Thermal insulation is made with a mattress made of mineral wool or other similar heat-conducting material, positioned inside the cavity of the false ceiling.

INTEGRATED SERVICES

The flexibility of the system allows easy mounting of the following accessories:

• Lighting fixtures: light channels, ceilings, embedded spotlights, etc.;

• Air diffusers: air suction and discharge grilles, ceiling diffusers, ventilators;

• Safety systems: sprinklers, smoke detectors, etc.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

• Panels are stored in dry and covered areas.

• The panels are kept in their own packaging until installation.

• Cartons must be stored and oriented as per instructions.

• Special care must be used during handling of boxes to avoid damages.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

For proper maintenance, we recommend you to comply with the following instructions:

• Dust should be removed from the surface by wiping them with a clean soft cloth.

• Any greasy stains will be cleaned with the aid of a fine detergent, especially for this type of product.

• Don't use abrasive cleaners or rough fabrics.

• Cleaning is done by simply wiping and in no case by rubbing.

INSTALLATION SYSTEM

The panels are fixed by their own weight on the 15mm or 24mm structure, with no tools or special accessories. The hanging system consists of rigid zinc-plated steel hangers and an elastic blade that provides a millimetre adjustment, which allows for a perfect smoothness of the false ceiling.

• The wide range of colours ensures that the customer's requirements are met. The painted products have been tested to a resistance of more than 1200 hours of salt spray.
